What has proven itself in everyday use in South African off-road vehicles is also a robust choice for sailors: SnoMaster coolers are now being launched on the German market as a robust portfolio of coolers.
The appliances are made of stainless steel and aluminium, and the manufacturer claims a cooling capacity of up to minus 22 degrees Celsius. The biggest speciality, however, is that the two large models offer two separately adjustable compartments, which can also be accessed via separate lids. You can choose which of the two compartments cools more than the other.
The compressor appliances are available in a total of five sizes: with 40, 60 and 75 litres of usable space in one compartment or 24+28 and 30+36 litres in two compartments.
The boxes are also variable when it comes to the power supply. Both 12 and 24 volt direct current and 100 to 230 volt alternating current can be fed in. This means that shore power can be tapped in any part of the world.
Each box comes with a protective cover, adjustable insert baskets and a side-mounted bottle opener. A particularly good detail: an integrated drain that makes it easy to clean the compartments.
Prices have not yet been finalised and the importer is currently looking for dealers.
